Coffee Bay Lodge, Coffee Bay

My stay at the hotel was an interesting experience. The rooms had a fantastic view of the beach and sea, though they were in need of refurbishment and had a bit of a funky smell. The service was exceptionally friendly and efficient, especially in areas like housekeeping, laundry, and tours/ticket assistance. The location was amazing, considering the close proximity to the ocean, but it could only be reached via 70 km of very bad road. The dining options had various delicious choices, including traditional dishes.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The recently renovated room was a significant improvement, and the supper was excellent at a very good price. The hotel building itself was very comfortable, although not as luxurious as the garden- and sea-view rooms. The service was top-notch, with the staff doing everything possible to make our stay decent, even singing one evening. The location, right on the beach, was the best thing about the stay, despite the slightly 'musty' shower area due to limited sun and air. The dining experience gave me a wide variety of delicious food from breakfast to dinner, but it was a bit overpriced for the quality and choice offered.
